Important Notice Regarding Canada Post Lock-out/Strike

  by

Dear Customers,

For the past few months we have been following the developments regarding the labor negotiations between Canada Post and CUPW. As of yesterday both parties have not expressed interest in a lock-out or strike. the earliest that this happen being Wednesday July 6th.

Eye Kandee Lingerie does not support either side, we simply use Canada Post because they offer the best shipping rate for our customers. That being said we do need to think forward to insure customers receive their orders in a timely manner.

Reluctantly we have changed our shipping provider to Fedex. This change does have an increased shipping cost, however we are able to offer quicker delivery options. We request that you review our Delivery & Shipping page for more details.

In the event that Canada Post and CUPW resolve their contract issues. Eye Kandee Lingerie will return to offering Canada Post as a shipping option to our customers

Thank You Lorilee Eye Kandee Lingerie Canada

We are happy to offer Canada Post as a shipping option again, as they have agreed to retract their lockout notice to the union so both parties can move forward to find a suitable agreement.

As of today, Canada Post has issued a 72-hour notice to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW-Urban and CUPW-RSMC), which represent our delivery agents and plant employees.
