One of the things I love most about running Eye Kandee Lingerie is discovering new brands. There is something thrilling about receiving that first order from a new brand. I love that moment. Sometimes I think I live for that moment.
With lingerie it is easy to dismiss a new design as uninspired just because it happens to resemble old design. Bras, Babydolls, panties … they have all been around for some time now and everything can start to blend into a field of sameness. This is especially true when certain trends that reach their saturation point, like the bondage/strappy look.
When I saw the Angels Never Sin collection, my first thought was that there is fearlessness to it. Bold, daring and sexy with a few classic pieces, but with many that are of-the-moment (strappy) with an emphasis on a natural bustline.
To me, there is always a willingness to try new brand. It is exciting finding that little known label and introducing them to you. More then that, it makes me want to see what else the label will design in the future.
